In Canada, and many other areas around North America, the end of the summer season is quickly approaching. In September, schools will be opening their doors for the year, while municipal outdoor pools and splash pads will be closing theirs until next summer. With only a few weeks left to enjoy the warmer weather, it's time to get outside! Splash pads are a safe and exciting way to beat the August heat! The Parkdale Playground in Belleville, Ontario is a unique and exciting splash pad perfect for children of all ages. With bright, nature-themed water toys including a rain tree, a dancin' daisy and more, the Parkdale Playground is sure to be a family favourite for many years to come!

The exciting waterpark at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Woodstock, New Brunswick just keeps getting better! In 2015, this campground added the “WaterWizards Water Zone” - a multi-level interactive water park featuring a play structure simulating a pirate boat, water slides and an impressive 750 gallon hydro storm! Open to the public all summer long, this waterpark has something to offer the entire family.

A few years ago, McLaren Park in Hamilton, Ontario received a complete makeover, including the addition of a brand new splash pad. With the new addition, families in the community have a place to cool down and refresh after enjoying the small playground, multi-purpose courts and play equipment the park already has to offer.
