Plumbers / Pipefitters

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

The Work:

 

Do you like to do the exact same thing every day? Neither do we! Every day is different. We are looking for skilled Plumbers/ Pipefitters who are willing to work within Ontario at various jobsites. Duties will include but never limited to:

• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• Take direction from Crew Leaders and Project Managers
• Prepare and assemble pipe
• Install and pressure testing
• Assemble mechanical rooms
• Startup pool equipment
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Report on progress

Skills and Abilities:

• 3-5 years trade experience required
• Familiar with pool mechanical equipment including pumps, filters, VFD’s, UV’s
• Comfortable working with up to 14’ PVC pipe
• Plumbers license is not required
• Experience with swimming pool construction considered an asset
• Clean driver’s abstract and background check
• Excellent safety record
• Clean driver’s abstract and background check
• Working at Heights Certification
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent logical analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to be agile and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Deadline driven
• Technologically literate

Working Conditions:

• Indoor and outdoor work year-round throughout Canada

• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
