Job Description

 

The Work:

Do you like to do the exact same thing every day? Neither do we! Every day is different. We are looking for skilled Labourers who are willing to work within Ontario at various jobsites. Duties will include but never limited to:

• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• Take direction from Crew Leaders and Project Managers
• Loading and unloading material
• Installing and removing concrete forms
• Mix, pour and spread concrete
• Remove rubble and other debris and general cleanup by removing waste materials from job site
• Assist craft workers
• Prepare and assemble pipe
• Install and pressure testing
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Report on progress

Skills and Abilities:

• 3-5 years trade experience required
• Experience in operating machinery such as small excavators and skid steers
• Experience with swimming pool construction considered an asset
• Clean driver’s abstract and background check
• Excellent safety record
• Clean driver’s abstract and background check
• Working at Heights Certification
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent logical analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to be agile and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Deadline driven
• Technologically literate

Working Conditions:

• Indoor and outdoor work year-round throughout Canada
• Fast paced work environment

• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
